Keep your jumping spider in an escape proof, ventilated tank.
Never leave your spider in direct sunlight.
You'll see a lot more activity from your critter if you give it props, decorations, or really anything for your spider to climb on.
Don't forget to feed your pet! You need to feed it 2-3 times a week with crickets, mealworms, bottle fly spikes, house flies, or whatever else is appropriate. Don't forget to mist 3-5 times a week.
When your spider is molting, it becomes very vulnerable and fragile. Do not leave live food near a molting spider, and try not to shake, touch, or otherwise make contact with the spider.
Spiders don't leave a lot of residue. You can get away with cleaning your spider's enclosure once every few months.
Your spider may die for no apparent reason, and most of the time it's impossible to know what from. If this happened to you with yours or a prior spider it likely has nothing to do with your ability in how to care for your pet. Don't blame yourself.
